What is the Price Match Policy?

We do match the price of local competitors as long as the competitor is a legitimate business with a website or ad showing the current lower price you would like to match (no special discounts; exceptions can be made). Patients must provide the link so that the business can be verified.

What is the Prepayment/Refund policy?

You may bring everything you believe may help the doctor better understand your situation.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, our services are not covered by insurance at the moment. However, if you have an out-of-network provider coverage, we will be happy to provide you with all the required documentation (i.e., a detailed receipt with the diagnosis procedure codes) so that you can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. Also please note that we keep our prices as low as possible.

Do I need/have to bring any records/documents?

You may bring everything you believe may help the doctor better understand your situation.

What are the Acceptable Payment Forms: Cash and CC only?

For cash-only patients: suggest to use a gift card/prepaid Master, Visa, Amex and Discover cards online, available in local stores. Patients can always pay cash in person at our clinics.

*We don’t accept PayPal for online payments.*

Will the prescription issued on the day of my appointment?

Most of the time medication will be prescribed on the day of the appointment, although, it is always up to a medical professional’s discretion as each case unique. There are many different variables involved, e.g., past medical history, certain medical conditions, active medications list, etc.

How many refills do I get?

Because most ADD and ADHD medications are considered Schedule II controlled substances, refills cannot be authorized, and the drug is prescribed for 30 days.

How often do I need to see a doctor?

Follow-up visits for patients being treated with controlled medications are every 30 days.

Do I always have to see the doctor in-person?

No, current regulations allow for telemedicine visits. You can speak with a medical provider from your home or office via a secure video line, provided you are in a private location and have consented to the use of telemedicine.

Can my medication be prescribed electronically?

Yes, we can transmit an electronic prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

How much does the medication cost?

It all depends on the type of medication, its dosage and quantity, as well as your insurance plan if you are insured. We always have pharmacy discount coupons available to all patients.

What Causes ADHD?

There are several internal and external factors that may cause attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Research suggests a strong link between ADHD and genetics, maternal substance abuse, premature birth, and early exposure to environmental toxins. In most cases, if a child is diagnosed with ADHD, their parents and siblings are more likely to have ADHD themselves.

What Are 3 Types of ADHD?

Although ADHD symptoms can overlap, there are three main subtypes/presentations of this condition:

  • Primary Impulsive/Hyperactive Type: This is the least common form of ADHD and is characterized by hyperactive and impulsive behaviors without inattention and distractibility.
  • Primary Inattentive and Distractible Type: This form of ADHD is characterized primarily by inattention and distractibility but without hyperactivity.
  • ADHD Combined Type: This is the most common form of ADHD and is characterized by hyperactive and impulsive behaviors as well as distractibility and inattention.
What Happens if ADHD Is Left Untreated?

People with ADHD tend to be impulsive and have a greater risk of getting injured, hospitalized, or contracting an STD. When left untreated, an adult with ADHD can experience significant problems with education, self-esteem, social and family relationships, employment, and emotional health. Fortunately, it is never too late to discover, diagnose, and treat ADHD plus any other mental health conditions associated with it.

Can a Child With ADHD Lead a Normal Life?

Children with ADHD exhibit severe and frequent behavioral problems that can interfere with their ability to live normal lives. More often, children with ADHD suffer low self-esteem and rejection, which can lead to delinquency, depression, and substance abuse later in life. However, proper care and medication can help minimize the symptoms of ADHD and improve quality of life.

What Is the Most Effective Treatment for ADHD?

Treatment for ADHD involves medication and behavioral therapy. Stimulants such as Concerta and Vyvanse are the best-known medication for ADHD in adults. Children are, however, given ADHD medication in smaller doses. Studies suggest that about 70-80% of children with ADHD exhibit fewer symptoms when taking these fast-acting medications.
