What is the best anxiety treatment in Miami?

Mango Clinic Miami knows how anxiety can get to people, and how it can be a lifelong problem for some. Anxiety can affect one’s daily life in a way not everyone may understand or know how to handle. It can be overwhelming for a person, and they may not be able to do things they want to. At times, it prevents them from seeking the help they need, which may cause substantial deterioration of their condition; anxiety treatment is always easier and more effective at earlier stages. Unfortunately,  anxiety affects a large percentage of the population, and many do not actively seek treatment.

Thankfully, no one has to go through it alone, as generalized anxiety disorder treatment involves a wide variety of treatment options. Everyone goes through it differently, so what might work for some may not work as well for others, but it can be combated and taken care of with the help of friends and family.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety Treatment

One of the most well-known forms of treatment for anxiety disorder, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) involves a few sessions with a therapist, with a focus on identifying solutions to one’s anxiety. How this works is that the therapist will help you figure out the possible causes of your disorder, and from here you will both work out the best ways to combat those causes. The idea behind this is to take control of what is causing your anxiety, not just by facing it, but by finding solutions to your problems. With a combination of planning, reviewing, and dedication to resolution, CBT has proven to be both a popular and effective form of combating anxiety.

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) is one of the best-known forms of CBT, as it narrows its focus of looking into a patient’s interpersonal issues and identifying what causes them. This therapy form works to find those problems that plague a patient’s personal life, and then find solutions to them that are both healthy and beneficial. This, in turn, can also lead to the patient developing social skills that will benefit them after the initial therapy has concluded.

Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

It may not be the most obvious choice, but hypnotherapy (aka hypnosis) has proven to be an effective anxiety treatment. It comes from the understanding that anxiety is an unconscious habit formed over the years; just one past incident can cause a person to suffer from anxiety. A common fear is public speaking, and a bad experience with this could cause anxiety for years. Every subsequent time you need to speak publicly, your body is likely to react like it did the first time, and you will not want to go through with it. These are reactions you have without realizing it, and they can give you anxiety (or add to it) without you having noticed.

Hypnotherapy for anxiety involves being hypnotized until you reach a trance, at which point your focus will be as narrow as can be. From here, the hypnotist might ask you personal questions that will allow you to get at the root of your anxiety. This can include reliving an old memory, identifying how something makes you feel, and finding a way to eliminate those feelings that trigger your anxiety. In this way, hypnosis can have you face your anxiety head-on by looking into its causes and coming to terms with your anxiety by looking deep within yourself to find solutions.

It’s important to remember that hypnosis is not about controlling one’s mind or actions, but instead reaching a certain headspace. More than anything, it’s a very meditative experience that has you looking inward, while also practicing techniques that will calm and relax you. The idea is to reach a state of peace that will allow you to really focus on yourself, your anxiety, and what is causing it, allowing you to tackle your problems in a healthy and productive way.

Natural Remedies for Anxiety

The natural remedies for anxiety vary, as some are more involved than others. For example, exercise is recommended for those who may suffer from anxiety, as it provides a release and focus via the energy that comes with it. As exercise has been generally well-known for being good for one’s mental and physical health, it can also considerably supplement your anxiety treatment.

Meditation is another physically involved treatment that is popular for helping reduce stress. Yoga is especially well regarded, as it’s often known for relaxing the individual and being a good form of exercise that’s less strenuous than others. In a similar vein, making sure you’re relaxed on a regular basis can be achieved by doing relaxation exercises. Many of these can be done laying or sitting down; you can combine physical activities (such as relaxing your muscles) with breathing exercising (such as taking deep breaths).

Herbal teas are also a popular remedy for anxiety, as they are well liked for the calming relief it can provide the drinker. Similar to how coffee can energize a person, tea can calm a person and bring them to a state of peace. This makes tea a good choice for those looking for something that is both healthy and soothing.

Anxiety Medications in Miami

Anxiety treatment medications can be beneficial, but there do exist different types, so it’s always important to consult with your doctor. Based on conversation with a doctor anti-anxiety medication can be prescribed.

What drugs are prescribed for anxiety?

There are two main types of anxiety medication:

  • Antidepressants
  • Benzodiazepines

Benzodiazepines are a combination of benzene and diazepine; it affects neurotransmitters in the brain and relaxes the body and mind. Some of the most well-known types of benzodiazepines include:

  • Valium (diazepam)

    Anxiety Treatment
    Anxiety Medications (Benzodiazepines)
  • Tranxene (clorazepate)
  • Serax (oxazepam)
  • Ativan (lorazepam)
  • Klonopin (clonazepam)
  • Xanax (alprazolam)
  • Tranxene (clorazepate)
  • Halcion (triazolam)
  • Dalmane (flurazepam)
  • Librium (chlordiazepoxide)

Each of these drugs has different chemical makeups, and the effects can vary, which is why you need to consult with your doctor as to which one is best for you. The amount of time it takes for each type to affect you, and how long those effects last, also varies from drug to drug. Some (like Halcion) only last for a few hours, while others (like Valium) can last for a day or two.

Antidepressants are a popular form of medication, of which exist a wide variety. Like benzodiazepines, antidepressants rework your neurotransmitters to affect your brain and body. Some of the most well-known antidepressants include:

  • SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors)
  • TCA (tricyclic antidepressants)
  • MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitors)

SSRIs raise your serotonin levels, which can affect your mood, sleep, and appetite; TCAs work similar to SSRIs. MAOIs increase the level of neurotransmitters that affect one’s mood, and they limit the sorts of foods you can eat and other medications you can take at the same time.

Antidepressant Medications

The medications that fall under SSRI, TCA, and MAOI include:

  • Celexa (citalopram)
  • Lexapro (escitalopram)
  • Prozac (fluoxetine)
  • Zoloft (sertraline)
  • Paxil (paroxetine)
  • Viibryd (vilazodone)
  • Anafranil (clomipramine)
  • Tofranil (imipramine)
  • Marplan (isocarboxazid)
  • Nardil (phenelzine)
  • Emsam (selegiline)
  • Parnate (tranylcypromine)

Clinical-Depression-Symptoms.jpg

If you feel as though you’re suffering from clinical depression and would like to see someone about treatment, come to Mango Clinic Miami. We offer services for treating a variety of disorders and mental problems you may be having. Our professional and certified staff can examine and provide you with various options and recommended solutions for whatever mental ailments you may have.

Identifying Clinical Depression

Every day we engage with people, things, work, and various events, we’re likely to experience a swath of emotions. Some things make us very happy, others frustrate us, and we may occasionally get mad or sad. It’s perfectly normal to have a bad day, or to be feeling a bit down, just as it’s perfectly normal to have a day where everything is great and you couldn’t be happier.

Clinical Depression

So what does it mean if you’re feeling sadder than usual? Do you find yourself lacking the energy to do small, everyday things? Are you finding it hard to experience joy in the things that you used to enjoy? Perhaps you don’t want to do things that you normally are able to, or are unable to find the energy needed to complete certain tasks. Maybe staying in bed all day is more appealing than getting up and being even mildly active. Or maybe you’re finding yourself thinking more and more about your failures, that you can’t do anything right, and that your life isn’t going to improve.

While it’s frequently used as an expression to mean “very sad,” depression is a real thing that people suffer from. Being depressed does not merely mean that you’re not feeling well or that something is making you unhappy. Depression completely alters your life and influences how you do things. It’s important to identify clinical depression symptoms since what are known to be serious indicators could be ignored when they actually need serious attention.

Clinical Depression Symptoms

One of the most common symptoms of clinical depression is the alteration of your feelings and emotions. Sadness is one emotion associated, as is hopelessness and pessimism. Apathy is another, as the lack of feeling is a significant trait associated with depression. You may find yourself no longer finding joy in things you previously did, and it may get to the point where your interest in things is no longer there. You may even see yourself feeling more guilty about things and blaming yourself for every little thing, which also contributes to self-loathing.

Depression also changes your physical state in a variety of ways. You might find yourself feeling more tired than usual, which can make you want to sleep more and be much less active. However, depression can also prevent you from being able to sleep well, which can make you have insomnia. This also can lead or be the result of a lack of focus during the day and the inability to make decisions. On top of all this, you may find your diet being greatly affected. You could be on either side of the extremes: eating way too much to cope or not eating enough due to a severe lack of appetite.

Depression can also vary between the sexes and ages. Teenagers, for example, are less likely to express something like sadness if they’re depressed. Instead, they’re more likely to seem frustrated, as well as have physical pains, such as headaches. Older adults can also express their depression, not in their emotions, but in how they feel physically. This can include chronic pain and aches, as well as not caring for their physical appearance and forgetting to take medication.

Common Symptoms of Clinical Depression

Men and women can also exhibit different symptoms. Men with depression are more likely to treat it as general fatigue, which can include being more tired than usual and having problems sleeping. But they can also try to combat these feelings in very self-destructive ways, such as engaging in reckless behavior and even substance abuse, which can include drugs, alcohol, and gambling.

Women with depression are known to have feelings of guilt, sleeping and eating too much, and gaining weight. There’s also postpartum depression, a very serious case that can affect women who just recently gave birth. A mix-up of the hormones in the body are often to blame for this, and it can be a very serious problem for women who may be feeling overwhelmingly depressed after having a child.

Suicide is often linked with depression, as it is the most deadly and frightening symptom. The symptoms aren’t always so obvious either, as these feelings of suicide can take subtle forms. You may act more recklessly or might start giving away your possessions. More obvious signs can include audibly saying you want to die, or that things would be better if you died, as well as feeling like there’s no hope or escape from your problems.

If you find yourself having regular thoughts of death and suicide, then you should absolutely consult a professional, as well as call a hotline (1-800-273-8255). This is the most dangerous side-effect depression inflicts on people, but with the right support and help, it can be avoided. Don’t ever feel as though you can’t get help, because you absolutely can, whether it’s healthcare professionals, friends, or both.

Come to Mango Clinic Miami if you would like to consult with a professional about treating your depression. Our certified staff will be able to examine your situation and provide the best solutions catered to you. Call us or visit our webpage today to schedule an appointment.

Symptoms-of-Anxiety.jpg

Anxiety affects many people all across the world, but some of them probably don’t even notice. It’s possible whatever symptoms they might have they consider just to be a normal part of their behavior. Or maybe they are aware of some signs but have become used to them. But one can become healthier and better when they know if they have symptoms of anxiety. Mango Clinic Miami can help you find recovery options for your anxiety, as well as help you understand what may be the cause. There are ways to get better, and it starts with understanding the signs and types of anxiety that exist.

What Are the Symptoms of Anxiety?

The signs and symptoms of anxiety vary, though most of them are closely connected in some ways. It’s possible that you could be suffering from more than one of these symptoms at a time.

Restlessness

If you find yourself unable to stand still, it’s possible you suffer from restlessness. This means you have a strange need to be always moving, even when it means being in place. While this symptom is quite common in children and teens who have anxiety, adults can have it, too. It’s one of the more notable signs of anxiety, though just because you’re restless does not mean you have anxiety.

Irrational Fear

Phobias constitute a significant part of anxiety, as it involves having an intense fear of things that, most commonly, does not cause such fear in others. This can include the fear of being late for something, getting hurt, or running into something that will frighten you. While phobias towards animals and insects are common forms, there is also fear of anything involving public or social events or places.

Fatigue/Tiredness

While being chronically tired is not in itself a sign that you have anxiety, it can still count as a symptom. It may not seems as obvious as some other symptoms, but it has been seen in some who do have anxiety. It can occur regularly and be the result of other symptoms, such as excessive stress or panic attacks.

Insomnia

Waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get to sleep is not so uncommon among those with anxiety. Insomnia and trouble with sleep are then heavily associated with the disorder and can be a severe cause for disruption in one’s daily life. If you have had insomnia in the past (such as in childhood), your risk of anxiety can be higher.

Simple signals could indicate an ongoing anxiety disorder

Worry

Everyone worries about something, but having anxiety means worrying about every little thing. In this specific case, it means worrying so much that it interferes with your daily life and having a high number of triggers for becoming worried. It’s a significant symptom of anxiety, so if you find yourself worrying excessively about everything, you should consult with a medical professional.

Lack of Concentration

Due to how anxiety can make the mind race, it should come as no surprise that concentrating is something some will have trouble with. When combined with the other possible symptoms, difficulty concentrating becomes something that happens as a result. If you are agitated, paranoid, and can’t stand still, you are more likely to be distracted and unfocused.

Panic Attacks

A panic attack (also known as an anxiety attack) happens when you start to sweat, your heart races, and you get into a fight-or-flight state of mind. These attacks are usually out of irrational fear that is all in your head, though they can result in real physical reactions. How long they last varies, but it can be several minutes.

Agitation

Since anxiety causes your body to act as if something is horribly wrong, you might find yourself constantly feeling overwhelmingly frustrated. Agitation is a common sign of anxiety since you will feel extremely uneasy whenever you start getting anxious.

Paranoia

If you’re feeling uneasy and uncomfortable all of the time, it’s likely that you’re feeling a bit paranoid. With anxiety, you may start to worry about your next panic attack, whether something will happen to you, or maybe that someone is conspiring against you. All of this adds to a person’s paranoia as a result of their other anxiety symptoms.

Sickness

While anxiety can lead to your mind thinking about things that cause you to stress, it can do the same to your body. If you’re suffering from acute anxiety, you are just as likely to feel physically unwell in some capacity, whether it’s headaches or stomach sickness.

If you or someone you know experience any of these symptoms, we will be happy to help you find appropriate anxiety treatment at Mango Clinic Miami.

What Are the Different Types of Anxiety?

While a variety of signs and symptoms of anxiety exist, there are also different types of anxiety disorders. Some of these disorders are more common than others, and some others are more specific in what causes them.

Different types of anxiety affect people in a different way

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

As the name says, this is a generalized disorder and one of the most common types; it can be a major disruption to your daily life activities. It involves many of the common symptoms associated with anxiety, such as excessive worry, frustration, agitation, and paranoia.

Panic Disorder

This is when the leading cause of anxiety is primarily tied with panic attacks. This involves having the attack, being in fear of the next attack, and avoiding people and places in an attempt to prevent another attack. It mainly comes down to fear, which brings about panic and can cause the individual not to want to engage with anyone or anything. Anxiety attack symptoms can include increased heart rate, trembling, shortness of breath, and sweating.

Agoraphobia

Also known as social anxiety disorder, agoraphobia is essentially a fear of public spaces, transportation, and events. Anywhere there are people and crowds, someone with agoraphobia is likely to avoid or be in fear of. The fear of embarrassment (being judged by others), feeling trapped (no exits), and being helpless contribute to one having agoraphobia.

Separation Anxiety Disorder

While it is often associated with children, it can affect anyone of any age. The feelings associated with separation anxiety are similar among all age groups, as they involve fear of not being with someone, what might happen to them if they are separated, and that the person they are attached to comes to some harm.

Phobia Specific

Some people’s anxiety comes from a very specific thing, and this often comes in the form of phobias. While agoraphobia has been covered, that’s a bit more general than, say, a fear of flying or a fear of snakes. Anxiety attacks and fear can result if exposed to the things they have a phobia for; avoiding these same things is also common.

Regardless of which types of anxiety apply to you, expert doctors at Mango Clinic Miami will be able to find a way to treat your anxiety, with or without anxiety medications.

Where Can I Get Evaluated for Anxiety?

If you find yourself suffering from any of the described anxiety symptoms for longer than six months, you should seek professional help. Even those who, for a shorter period, find their emotions interfere with their day-to-day lives, should consult with a doctor. Licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists are best suited for treating someone with anxiety, and they can do so with different treatment forms, from cognitive therapy to prescribed medication.

Depression Treatment in Miami

Male-Hypogonadism.jpg

Mango Clinic Miami knows how important your health is, which is why we’re able to help you find the right treatment options for men’s health. It’s not always known what you need, but our certified doctors can help you understand the best solutions to benefit you. When it comes to men’s health, testosterone levels can have a variety of effects on the male body. While plenty of these effects are normal, some might be a sign of something more; male hypogonadism is one of such conditions. It’s not always easy to understand, and that’s why acute symptoms and signs are vital.

What is Male Hypogonadism?

A regular, healthy man is known to have a good balance of testosterone in their body. It’s a male hormone that, some might say, easily classifies that which makes men what they are. Other than helping the male body with the development of testicles, prostate, and sperm, there are more noticeable things like body hair. Testosterone affects how a male body develops on the whole; the early stages of the human body feature a low count, but its peak is within the 20s range. When an adult male becomes older (usually around the age of 40), their testosterone levels begin dropping ever so slightly. It happens over the rest of their lives and how it affects them can vary.

If it feels as though your testosterone levels have decreased for one reason for another, it’s possible you have hypogonadism. Hypogonadism in males is when the body is not producing the proper amount of testosterone. The reasons for why this might be are numerous, but we’ll start by saying that there exist two main forms: primary and secondary.

Primary Hypogonadism and Secondary Hypogonadism

Hypogonadism Causes

Primary hypogonadism is when there exists a problem within your testicles which is preventing you from releasing testosterone. There are a few ways one can be struck with primary hypogonadism:

  • Direct injury to the testes is one of the more straightforward ways to get primary. Damage to only one testicle usually doesn’t cause complete hypogonadism.
  • The testicles not dropping is something that can occur during childhood development. If this does happen, it can lead to the testicles not functioning properly, resulting in testosterone problems.
  • Klinefelter syndrome boils down to having one too many extra X chromosomes. While males have X and Y each, an additional X or two can cause problems with the development of the testicles, which can lead to an issue in the production of testosterone.
  • Cancer treatment can cause men to have lower testosterone, and in turn, a lower sperm count. Many of those who have come out of treatment have been fine, but there are cases of permanent infertility.

Secondary hypogonadism involves the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which are both located in the human brain. This is a condition where the hypothalamus or pituitary gland is not sending the signals to the testicles, thus preventing the release of testosterone, as well as a lack of sperm. How one acquires secondary includes:

  • Aging, which makes it a possible and semi-normal thing for those who are older and have had their testosterone levels drop over time.
  • Taking certain medication can result in getting secondary.
  • Any serious illness or extreme stress can lead to the body not functioning as usual, which can mean not having parts of the brain work to release testosterone.
  • Kallmann syndrome and pituitary disorders. Kallmann syndrome is related to abnormalities with the hypothalamus; pituitary disorders involve abnormalities with the pituitary gland which can prevent testosterone release.

Male Hypogonadism Symptoms

Symptoms associated with male hypogonadism of both types depend on the stage of development of the male. As early as pre-development, an incoming male child can display potential symptoms due to not receiving enough testosterone during this time. The effects can include underdeveloped male genitals, female genitals, or ambiguous genitals.

Males who are still growing in their early years can experience symptoms of hypogonadism that vary from minor to extreme. These symptoms are often tied to puberty, as this is when it may be revealed that a child has hypogonadism. For example, their voice may not have deepened, or their body hair isn’t growing like it ought to. They may also not develop as much muscle mass, or their breast tissue may grow. One of the more extreme symptoms is if their arms and legs grow at a rate that is disproportionate with the trunk of their body.

Adult males can suffer from similar symptoms to those found in teenage males, such as lack of facial hair and a decrease in muscle mass. However, different symptoms for adults include erectile dysfunction and infertility, as well as emotional changes like lack of concentration and a decreased sex drive.

Male Hypogonadism Treatment in Miami

Male Hypogonadism Treatment

Before declaring that you have hypogonadism due to a potential symptom or two, you need to check in with your doctor and get a blood test. Your doctor will look you up and down to see if any of your symptoms make sense with regards to your age, height, weight, etc. As for the blood test, it’s usually taken before 10: 00 AM (on your own time); it’s is what your doctor requires in order to make an actual diagnosis as to what you have.

As is expected, combating this disease can be different for younger and older men. A variety of hormones can be injected into boys which stimulate puberty to help in the development of their bodies. Adult men can also be injected with hormones, as well as receive assisted reproductive technology (in case they’re infertile). For each, the type of hormones injected depends on whether the situation is primary or secondary.

The treatment options that exist for hypogonadism also vary, and the already mentioned injection is a well-known option, although needles are not for everyone. Patches that are applied to different parts of the body each time are an option, as are absorbable gels which are also applied to various body parts. There also exists treatment which involves putting a substance between your gums and teeth, as well as a gel that is ingested through the nasal cavity. Each of these options gives the patient a variety of ways to take their medicine, as some options work better for people than others, either due to side-effects or pricing.

If you think you might need a check-up for low testosterone, come to Mango Clinic Miami, where our certified doctors will be able to help and assist you and provide treatment options best suited to your specific needs. Do not let male hypogonadism affect your life, call us or visit our webpage to schedule an appointment today.

Adrenal-Fatigue.jpg

Adrenal Fatigue Treatment in Miami

Life can keep us from being able to take care of ourselves the way we should. Sometimes we feel so busy that we don’t pay attention to how we may be feeling, or how our bodies are acting. Mango Clinic Miami is able to help you with examinations and options for treating ailments that might be preventing you from being the healthiest you can be. Adrenal Fatigue is one of such conditions.

Functions of the Adrenal Gland

Do you feel yourself feeling extra tired? Extra sleepy? Maybe you’re feeling more stressed than usual, or feel as though you aren’t able to handle everything life has been throwing your way. It can be hard to manage everything that goes on in our lives, so much so that we may not notice the reasons behind it all.

One of those reasons could be that our adrenal gland is depleted. You may not know too much about it, but adrenal glands are essential organs that sit on top of our kidneys. They produce hormones that help balance a multitude of things within our bodies, such as regulating blood pressure, electrolytes, and adrenaline.

Adrenal Fatigue

Cortisol is one of the most vital hormones the adrenal gland produces and can be the cause of much energy in your system. It’s able to regulate your blood pressure, as well as decrease inflammation when needed. In order for cortisol to be released, two other hormones must be released: the corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). CRH helps the pituitary gland secrete ACTH, which then makes the adrenal glands release cortisol into the bloodstream. In essence, both CRH and ACTH are in charge of making sure the right amount of cortisol is flowing through our bodies.

If these hormones aren’t released and aren’t working the way they should, you can find yourself feeling adrenal fatigue. High levels of stress are known for causing this, and the symptoms associated with adrenal fatigue aren’t always noticeable, as it can take months or years for them to show up.

Adrenal Fatigue Symptoms

One of the most common symptoms someone with adrenal fatigue will have is a lack of energy. It should be unsurprising since the adrenal glands can provide our bodies with the energy we need to face the day. If you feel like you need more sleep during the day, these could be signs of fatigue, especially if it’s happening regularly.

Low blood sugar is another common symptom; it can make you easily dizzy and lightheaded. As we’ve mentioned earlier, adrenal glands release cortisol, which helps regulate blood sugar. If your glands are being depleted and your sugar levels are low, you may find yourself feeling much more weak, especially in the early mornings.

A more surprising symptom is the craving for salty foods. This is because the adrenal glands produce aldosterone, which stores sodium in the kidneys, as well as other vital glands. If this hormone isn’t working correctly, you can end up excreting more waste than is warranted, and thus consuming more salt as a way of counterbalancing.

Best Ways to Treat Adrenal Fatigue

There exist different treatments for adrenal fatigue, and either going for one or several depends on what works best for you. The most important, however, is finding out what’s causing the fatigue in the first place. Since stress is most likely what’s been causing you to have less energy, identify what precisely may be causing this. It could be work, a relationship, a lack of sleep, your diet, or even some combination of these. Once you figure out what exactly is causing your stress, you can start figuring out how to handle it.

From here you can also focus on changing your diet, especially if that’s a major cause of your stress. An adrenal fatigue diet consists of eating healthy and making sure you get the right nutrients, protein, fruits, and vegetables can be a great way to combat adrenal fatigue. Some of these foods can include eggs, fish, nuts, dairy, and leafy green. Also stay hydrated, since dehydration is bad for your glands and body at large. If you can eat breakfast, do so, as this can help you maintain energy, as can eating regularly throughout the day. Avoid what are usually considered unhealthy foods, such as soft drinks, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, and anything fried.

Adrenal Fatigue Treatment

As for supplements, you can find natural solutions of nearly any kind. Natural herbs and the like are the most recommended supplements for adrenal fatigue, as they’re able to properly balance your hormones. Many of the herbs recommended can give a boost to your immune system, allowing it to keep your adrenal glands healthy and in production. Additionally, Vitamin C can help with producing cortisol, while B vitamins can provide you with more energy.

At Mango Clinic Miami, we can help you figure out what might be causing you stress, and the best treatments for you. Our professional and certified staff will be able to examine you and your individual needs and provide a variety of options, including diet plans and medication choices. What Is Anxiety?

Do you ever get really nervous when having to talk in front of a crowd? Have you ever been in a situation that had you feeling very uncomfortable due to what felt like an irrational fear? Perhaps riding on an airplane makes you sweat, even if you are not exactly sure as to why. Maybe having to decide what to order off a restaurant’s menu causes you to get antsy.

If you can relate to any of these examples, it is possible you have a generalized anxiety disorder. Mango Clinic Miami can help you find the right solutions to your disorder by assessing your individual needs and finding what works best for you. We know living with anxiety is not easy, so we always want to make sure that your unique needs are met. It’s important for you to understand what anxiety is, its symptoms, and how it can be treated.

Anxiety as a disorder involves having reactionary sensations and emotions as a very regular part of your life. For some people, having high anxiety and maybe even panic attacks is something they have become accustomed to and work around. Others may limit the things they do in life because of their anxiety, such as social interactions and even seeking help to improve their disorder.

While this can be detrimental to a person’s well-being, it’s important to remember where it might be coming from. Much of a person’s anxiety stems from past trauma, something major that happened that has since caused them to feel a certain way. These experiences have resulted in their bodies responding to certain situations in a specific way, whether it be panic or fear. Those who seek therapy for their anxiety will likely consult with someone who will help them confront what causes their anxiety. There are some different ways this can be done, but the end goal is always to make sure that the patient will be able to recover from their anxiety in a healthy and beneficial way.

Drugs for Anxiety Miami

A popular and proven supplement for combating anxiety is medication. For those who may have severe symptoms and need an additional treatment option, anti-anxiety drugs are a well-liked choice for helping people find relief.

When it comes to the medication itself, there exist a broad spectrum of types and brands, all with their own chemical makeup. Just how everyone’s anxiety disorder is different than another’s, not every type of anxiety drug will work equally for all. It’s always crucial that, if you’re interested in medication, that you consult with your physician which one is best for you.

Anxiety Drugs

There are two main medication types for anxiety:

  • Antidepressants
  • Benzodiazepines

Antidepressants and benzodiazepines are drugs which rework the neurotransmitters in your brain so that you will feel more relaxed. Each one has its own set of drug types, which feature brand names that are easy to seek out.

Anxiety drugs that fall under antidepressants include:

  • Celexa (citalopram)
  • Lexapro (escitalopram)
  • Prozac (fluoxetine)
  • Zoloft (sertraline)
  • Paxil (paroxetine)
  • Viibryd (vilazodone)
  • Anafranil (clomipramine)
  • Tofranil (imipramine)
  • Marplan (isocarboxazid)
  • Nardil (phenelzine)
  • Emsam (selegiline)
  • Parnate (tranylcypromine)

Some of these antidepressants are known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which increase the serotonin levels in your body to affect your mind and body. SSRIs and their associated types are among the most popular and well-known examples of antidepressants.

Anti-anxiety drugs that fall under benzodiazepines include:

  • Valium (diazepam)
  • Tranxene (clorazepate)
  • Serax (oxazepam)
  • Ativan (lorazepam)
  • Klonopin (clonazepam)
  • Xanax (alprazolam)
  • Tranxene (clorazepate)
  • Halcion (triazolam)
  • Dalmane (flurazepam)
  • Librium (chlordiazepoxide)

All of these drugs can give off different reactions and vary in their effectiveness. Some of the drugs mentioned can last for a couple of days, whereas others only last for a few hours. It will be up to you and your physician to decide which anxiety drugs will work best for you.

How to Ask Your Doctor for Anxiety Drugs

Asking For Anxiety Drugs

Before you can get your hands on any medication, you need to go through your physician first. A DEA-licensed doctor is the only person who can prescribe you to get any kind of medication. If you’re going to see someone about getting this kind of medication, make sure they are licensed, otherwise, you will not have the approval to get anxiety drugs.

A licensed doctor will have to evaluate you to make sure you qualify for anxiety medication, which means making sure it will be the best option for you. Once you have been approved, you and your doctor will decide on which specific drug for you to take. You will likely be prescribed a low dosage, but you can always consult with your doctor in case you need an increase.

Recreational Use and Consequences

Unfortunately, anti-anxiety drugs are ripe for abuse. Since their aim is to make the person feel much better, users can become easily addicted, especially since they are not illegal and not always that hard to get. They may even be seen as relatively okay for overuse since licensed medical doctors prescribe them. However, these drugs can end up doing much more harm than good if they are not used appropriately.

It’s been shown that benzodiazepines cause many of the overdose deaths that have occurred in North America. They are also among the most prescribed drugs, which leads to a lot of abuse from patients. In recent years, death by benzodiazepines has surpassed some other drugs, such as cocaine and heroin, in a way that had not been seen before. While just taking the drugs as they are is easily abused, they can also be crushed and inhaled through one’s nose. This technique, like injections, allows the person to get a more direct concentration of the drug into their bodies.

Anxiety Drugs Side-Effects

Anxiety drugs can have a variety of side-effects, so it’s important to understand the possible risks before being prescribed.

  • Nausea: This can occur while your body gets used to the drug. It’s also important to make sure you don’t take these drugs on an empty stomach, as they can cause nausea more easily.
  • Fatigue: Feeling more tired than usual is something that might happen when you take these drugs, so make sure you’re taking it easy most days. At the same time, you can do some minor exercise (like walking) while also taking naps when you get tired.
  • Insomnia: If you’re feeling tired during the day, it may be because you aren’t sleeping like you used to. Try and take your medication in the morning if this happens to you; if it persists, you may need something else to combat insomnia.
  • Weight Gain: You might find your appetite changing, which can lead to you eating more than you have before. It’s important to watch what you eat while you’re taking these drugs, so talk with a dietitian if you need to.
  • Sex: It’s not unusual for these drugs to affect sexual performance and possibly cause dysfunction. These can include difficulty reaching orgasm, keeping an erection, and a general reduction in your sex drive.
  • Dry Mouth: This is common, so make sure you keep your mouth moist with water, chewing gum, or sugarless candy. Avoid anything that can keep your mouth dry, such as alcohol, tobacco, and carbonated drinks.

Emotional Support Animal Letter from ESADoctors.com REVIEW

In this article, we continue the series of our reviews on different online ESA services. This post discusses whether getting an Emotional Support Animal Letter from ESADoctors.com is a good idea.

What is an Emotional Support Animal?

Everyone gets a pet for all kinds of reasons, and there’s always a variety of what animals people choose to adopt. Whether you enjoy playing fetch with your dog, snuggling up with your cat, letting your rabbit roam your home, or going out with your snake, everyone has a preferred animal they enjoy having as a pet. They become a part of your family, and everyone enjoys the company they provide. In many aspects, these animals provide you with comfort and calmness that can’t be matched.

If you deal with an emotional or mental disorder, then you understand how essential your companion is to you. They are so much more than just a pet; they’re your best friend, and they provide you with love and affection that nothing else can come close to replicating. In these cases, you might consider them an emotional support animal, someone who you want to accompany you wherever you go. However, it can sometimes be challenging to have your ESA with you, as some establishments don’t allow animals. This is why ESA letters exist: they allow you to bring your companion into residential complexes that otherwise don’t allow pets, as well as airlines that would make things extra difficult. If you do not have a proper ESA letter, an airline can make you put your animal in cargo, or you may be charged a fee.

Mango Clinic Miami can ensure that you receive a genuine ESA letter that’s approved by our certified doctors. We understand how important it is for you to be with your ESA, which is why we’re able to help clients that come in needing the proper documentation. You don’t want to get into situations where you might be separated from your animal companion. If you’re looking for a legitimate place for getting a valid ESA letter, you can come to Mango Clinic.

Is ESADoctors.com Legit?

ESADoctors Scam

For these reasons, we like to look at other sites that claim to provide ESA letters and see if they’re in any way legit. If you considered getting an Emotional Support Animal Letter from ESADoctors.com, beware, as ESADoctors.com is one of these types, and like many others, their services and what they provide are not genuine.

One of the big red flags that ESADoctors.com is illegitimate is that their information regarding who can “approve” you is not consistent. In one part of the site, they state that you’ll be in touch “easily and privately” with a therapist who can approve you for a letter. But elsewhere, it states that their “team of mental health professionals” will see if you qualify by looking over the questionnaire you filled out. What’s worse is that these two different pieces of information can be found on the same page!

On top of that, you still need to pay after filling out the questionnaire but before having your information looked over by “someone.” One other thing of note that may escape notice is their contact information. They don’t have an actual address on their site, which is a major red flag for a place that’s supposed to staff physicians and provide medical services. Any business that can provide you with a real ESA letter will have a physical location staffed by healthcare professionals. Additionally, there is no actual contact info to be found on their site; only a contact form where you give your name, email, and a message. This same page says that they have “customer support representatives ready to take your questions,” which is odd for a site that has no direct email address to contact, phone number, or hours of operation listed.

How Does ESADoctors.org Compare to Mango Clinic?

Qualifying Patients

To qualify on ESADoctors.com, you merely have to fill out a questionnaire, which is then “looked over” by “doctors” who can approve you to have an ESA. It makes no mention of speaking with a doctor in any way to get your letter.

At Mango Clinic, we have you speak with one of our doctors so that they can assess your medical condition and see if you qualify. This is the only legal way you can get a real ESA letter, and it can be done via Telehealth, which, in the state of Florida, allows you speak with a medical professional via video chat or over the phone.

Cost of an Emotional Support Animal Letter

ESADoctors.com offers three packages that are $149 (travel), $159 (housing), and $189 (combo). However, since their website isn’t legitimate, these are just easy ways to scam you of your money. Additionally, the language they use makes it seem as if there exist two separate letters for housing and travel. In reality, if you decide to cover both housing and travel, it will still be just one letter.

Mango Clinic has letters that range from $129 (housing), $149 (travel), and $189 (both). The major difference is that our letters are completely genuine; you must be approved by a qualified medical professional to receive a letter from our clinic. And whether you decide on just housing, travel, or both, you’ll receive one letter that you can use in those instances.

If you are getting an Emotional Support Animal Letter from ESADoctors.com, their website says that, once you’ve done the questionnaire, paid, and been approved, your letter will be sent in the mail within a few days. If you’re really getting an ESA letter, it’s never this easy.

Mango Clinic makes sure things are done the right way. In order to receive a legally legitimate ESA letter, you must speak with one of our qualified doctors to assess you. This assessment can be done in person, but thanks to Florida allowing the use of Telehealth, you can also do a video chat or a phone call to talk with one of our doctors. Once your information and conditions have been discussed, and you’ve been approved, you can receive your letter either in-office, via email as PDF, or both.

What are the Guarantees?

At Mango Clinic, we have a 100% money-back guarantee. If your letter is not accepted for any reason, we will refund your money. Additionally, we can always be contacted if you have any questions.

So as you might expect, you do not want to get involved with obtaining your Emotional Support Animal Letter from ESADoctors.com. Their process of providing you an “ESA letter” is illegitimate and will result in you ending up with an invalid letter. Their main aim is to scam people unlucky enough to come across their website and think it’s the real deal.

Don’t ever fall for these sites by coming to Mango Clinic to get your genuine ESA letter. Call us at (786) 391-0269 or visit our webpage to schedule an appointment today.

Fake-ESA-Letter-From-RegisterServiceDogs.com_.jpg

In this installment, we will revisit our series of critical reviews on various online ESA services. This article focuses on why you shouldn’t get your Emotional Support Animal Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com.

What is an Emotional Support Animal?

People who own pets know how valuable they can be to a single person or a whole family. We care for them, spend all our time with them, and eventually, they become much more to us than mere pets. This is also why so many people with close connections with their pets are more likely to see them as family members or best friends. And for some people, their beloved companions become emotional support animals who can help them get through the day in a way other forms of therapy cannot. For these reasons and more are why many consider their pets emotional support animals for mental disorders like anxiety and depression.

Emotional Support Animal

We at Mango Clinic Miami know that if you have a health or mental disorder, and you think you need another form of therapy, ESAs are an excellent option. Pets have already proven to be a well-loved source of joy for so many people, but some people have also found their companions to be of value to their mental health. Getting an ESA letter allows you to have your pet in residences that may otherwise not allow pets or would charge you an additional price for them. This letter also lets you take your pet with you on an airplane, instead of putting them in cargo or paying an extra fee. Without a legitimate ESA letter, you could get into unfortunate situations that can involve you not being able to take your pet with you on a trip.

Unfortunately, there are too many fraudulent websites out there that take advantage of people and their lack of understanding regarding ESA letters. These sites are designed to scam you out of your money, and we want to make sure you don’t fall for them by knowing some tell-tale signs.

Is RegisterServiceDogs.com Legit?

Let’s go over the process of getting an Emotional Support Animal Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com. RegisterServiceDogs.com, also known under the new name USDogRegistry.org, is an example of one of these types of sites. The easiest way to know they’re a scam is in the name; the domains use the word “register” and “registry” respectively. You cannot register an emotional support animal, and thus, there exists no registry for them. You the owner are the one who needs to get a letter for yourself and include whichever pets you want to add as ESAs.

While the repeated use of the word “register” (and its variations) already proves its illegitimacy, there are other things on their site that support this. For one, they don’t provide ESA letters. What they do seem to provide are “kits” that contain a variety of useless things you don’t need, such as a dog tag, an ID card, and vest. As for what passes for a letter, these kits include “certificates of registration,” which are not at all valid and would not help you if you need to provide a letter to an airline or landlord. When you get an ESA letter, all you need is the letter and that’s it; anything additional is completely unnecessary. Any business that claims it can give you an ESA letter does not need to be giving you a complete kit featuring too many things, along with a false certificate.

Something else that is problematic is the website’s lack of a physical address and phone number. Any legitimate business, regardless of their service, should have a physical address and a good way to contact them. RegisterServiceDogs.com/USDogRegistry.org only features an email and a contact form, and these alone are not enough to make them a genuine service for getting an ESA letter. The lack of a physical location also makes them illegitimate because any place that can provide you with an ESA letter must have a facility where licensed physicians and staff are employed.

One more thing that you may not know about is how long these letters are usually valid. A real ESA letter needs to be renewed yearly, but according to USDogRegistry.org, your ESA “will be registered with the US Animal Registry” for as long as the ESA is alive. Just so you know: the US Animal Registry is not real.

How Does RegisterServiceDogs.com Compare to Mango Clinic?

Qualifying Patients

As you apply for an ESA Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com/USDogRegistry.org, they do not require you to fill out any kind of questionnaire for yourself. You have to fill out information pertaining to your pet, as well as anything you may want to add to your kit. This further proves that they don’t sell you a letter but a product that happens to contain a “certificate.” However, their FAQ does mention that, for ESAs, you need a doctor’s note. At the same time, they say you do not have to submit that note to them to get a kit.

At Mango Clinic, we make sure you speak with one of our qualified doctors, as this is the only way to get a real ESA letter. The doctor must evaluate you and determine whether your medical condition can approve you to have an ESA letter. Best of all, the regulations allow you to speak with a doctor via Telehealth communication, which means you can speak with them over the phone to assess your eligibility.

Cost of an Emotional Support Animal Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com

Once again, if you want to obtain an actual ESA letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com/USDogRegistry.org, remember, it does not offer you one. Their kits start around $79 and can go up to $199; the only thing in the kits that can count as a “letter” is their “certificates.”

Mango Clinic has prices that range from $129 (housing), $149 (travel), and $189 (both). It may seem like a lot of money for just a letter (as opposed to a whole kit), but that’s because these are the real deal. These letters are legal and approved by certified medical professionals.

These so-called ESA websites will often offer you costly unnecessary accessories

Getting an Emotional Support Animal Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com

Like many other sites, RegisterServiceDogs.com/USDogRegistry.org asks that you fill out some quick information, pay, and then you’ll receive your kit. You don’t even have to talk with anyone; it’s as easy as adding a product into your shopping cart.

RegisterServiceDogs.com ReviewUSDogRegistry.org ReviewReview RegisterServiceDogs.com

Getting a valid ESA letter is never as easy as getting an ESA letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com; there’s a reason for that. Mango Clinic cares that you get the help you need, so we make sure we do everything the right way. You speak with one of our doctors, and after they approve you, you’ll be able to receive your official ESA letter, either physically, as a PDF, or both. You can even speak them via Telehealth since Florida allows you to speak with a doctor through video chat or a phone call.

What are the Guarantees?

As you continue through steps to acquire your Emotional Support Animal Letter from RegisterServiceDogs.com/USDogRegistry.org, you will find on their FAQ that there are “no refunds on the certificate and identification cards,” and absolutely no mention of a money-back guarantee. They do, however, have a return policy for its vests, in which they claim they will exchange it once if you contact them within 15 days of when your order was placed.

At Mango Clinic, we provide you with a 100% money-back guarantee, ensuring that if your letter is not accepted, you will be refunded. You can also always call us if you have any questions.

Mango Clinic cares about the valuable relationship that exists between you and your animal, which is why we do things the right way. Visit our appointment page or call us (786) 391-0269 to schedule an appointment today. You may also contact us by filling out this simple ESA Online Form.

What Is An Emotional Support Animal?

There is a multitude of ways to get health products and services. In that same respect, many available forms of medication do not work for some people. While antidepressants are a viable and helpful supplement for some people’s therapy and recovery, these same drugs can have no effect on others. Worse, these drugs could possibly make some people feel worse as opposed to better. This is why alternative forms of medication and therapy exist, and these alternatives can sometimes be more effective than “traditional” forms of medicine.

Emotional support animals (ESAs) are one example of this, as they have been found to be extremely helpful for helping people. Those who have chosen to have support pets find themselves able to return to a life of normalcy and regularity that they had previously lost. Where before the drugs were not making them feel better, having an animal companion has brought hope, love, and motivation back into their lives. Since the company of the pet alone can help the person, an owner will feel compelled to spend as much time with their ESA as is possible.

This is also why emotional support animal letters are vital for owners. If you have a support animal and want to make sure they can be with you at all convenient times, an ESA letter is a must. This documentation makes looking for housing and going on trips much less stressful, as you will not have to worry about whether your ESA will be allowed or not. You also won’t have to worry about landlords charging you extra or airlines not letting you sit with your pet if you have a proper emotional support animal letter.

How to Identify an ESA Scam Site

While it is beneficial to have this documentation, you have to be careful of the various sites that claim to offer it. EzCare Clinic.com is a legitimate website for getting your ESA letter, as it features licensed doctors and a verifiable physical address. However, it’s very easy to search online and be tricked by scam sites who say they offer letters of the same validity. Many fraudulent sites take advantage of people who do not know better, so arming yourself with knowledge on what makes a scam site is valuable.Identifying Scam Sites

To start, don’t ever fall for a site that has the word “registry” in its name or anywhere on its site. There is no such thing as a registry for emotional support animals, and you never have to register your pet. Sites that liberally use this word may also offer information about service dogs, which promotes the idea that ESAs are similar. This is further instigated by selling gear for pets, which are almost always targeted towards dogs. Along with vests (which may say “emotional support animal” on them), they may also sell ID cards and tags, none of which is necessary.

A prevalent way to sell letters on these sites is to bundle them together with that useless gear. These are labeled as kits, and they contain, along with the letter, a vest, the tags, and a variety of other things which just make the price tag higher. It should always be remembered that you do not need any of this gear. If you claim a pet as your ESA, all you need is the letter; you do not also need accessories of identification.

As for getting one of these letters, the process on these sites appears to be reasonably straightforward. You usually only have to fill out a questionnaire, which is then sent to someone (or a group) who will look over it and will approve you from there. In reality, getting an ESA letter is not this easy, as you have to sit down and speak with a licensed doctor, either in-person or via telehealth communication. Many of these sites state that speaking with a doctor is not required; these same sites might mention that the doctor who gave their approval may contact you, but that it is not likely. A few of these sites might also say that their letters will never expire, but no official ESA letter anywhere has that guarantee, as they all last up to one year before needing to be renewed.

One other thing to keep an eye out for is an address that may be missing on these sites. Almost all of them do not feature a physical address on their homepage (or any page); this is a major red flag, as a business selling real ESA letters should feature a physical address, along with a number for contacting them. Even sites that do have a phone number may not pick up every time you call, which is highly suspect for what is supposed to be a legitimate business. It’s also important that, if they do feature an address, it can be verified. A very popular “form of contact” on these sites is through a contact form; this is not exactly professional, and if this is the only way to get in touch with them, you should be extremely suspicious.

Is EzCare Clinic Legit?

If you are looking for a legitimate website that can provide you with official emotional support animal documentation, EzCare Clinic.com has you covered. Unlike so many other of these scam sites, EzCare Clinic is an official health clinic that offers valid ESA letters that can be used for housing, travel, or both. They will have you speak with a licensed physician, either in-person or over the phone via telehealth; from here, the physician will be able to approve you for a letter.

EzCare Clinic provides a 100% money-back guarantee for any reason, such as not being accepted by an airline or apartment complex. They will even speak with the landlord or airline in question to explain that the letter is genuine. If you need other health services, EzCare Clinic has those too; they can assist you with ADD/ADHD, weight loss, sexual dysfunction, anxiety, and more. Additionally, their doctors can be verified by visiting this government website and looking up their license number.

Why It’s Good To Have A Personal Trainer

Mango Clinic Miami is committed to helping patients with a variety of medical conditions, from ADD/ADHD to sexual dysfunction. We also help people who are interested in losing weight and know that there are a variety of ways of getting this done. From prescription medications and diet recommendations to information regarding personal trainers, our physicians at Mango Clinic in Miami are here to help.

Personal Trainers Provide Motivation and Correct Form

For some people, exercising can be a chore. They know it’s healthy for them, but they can’t seem to find the time or motivation to either go to the gym, go for a run, or play a recreational sport. And even if they can exercise, they may not enjoy what they’re doing. It’s easy to see exercising as this thing that we’re supposed to do, as opposed to wanting to do. Sometimes what we need is the right sort of push or motivation.

If you really want to exercise, then maybe what you need is a personal trainer. It’s possible the idea of a personal trainer seems a bit extreme to you, but they can be enormously beneficial. For them, it’s their job to be dedicated to you, which means the workouts you do are tailored to your preferences. If you prefer one sort of routine over another, your trainer will be able to better accommodate you. That accommodation extends to where you decide to exercise; if gyms aren’t your scene, an outside venue works just as well. On top of that, your trainer can bring any equipment you may need for your workout.

Your trainer can also give you advice with regards on how best to do specific exercises. A primary reason many employ personal trainers is because they’ll be able to teach them correct form, which will allow them to get the most out of an exercise routine. This also means trainers can help you with figuring out machines at the gym, which can prevent any unnecessary injuries. Those serious about their workout will want to take advantage of the knowledge a personal trainer has, whether it’s specific exercises or know how many reps you should do.

Personal Trainers are Versatile

Due to the intimate nature of working with a personal trainer, you’ll be able to create a schedule that works best for you. They’re able to be extremely versatile, so that anytime during a given day will work for them, so long as it works for you. Other than being able to guilt trip you into working out, a personal trainer will be able to keep you on track. If you’re prone to not doing things due to less-than-ideal time management, a trainer will be able to make sure you never miss a workout. This also goes for people who are fond of choosing to not exercise for one reason or another (too early or too late in the day, for example). If you make every exercise session a real appointment with someone, you’re more likely to stick with it.

Personal Trainers Help You Meet and Set Goals

By their very design, a personal trainer assists in making sure you meet your goals, and that what you do for exercise is benefiting you. In many ways, they act almost like a personal assistant, since they’re able to schedule out times to work out, how long each session should be, and what sort of diet you should have. It may not occur to those seeking personal trainers, but they can absolutely help you with coming up with the best foods for you. Trainers need to know about nutrition and what sorts of foods benefit your body, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that you can get diet plans from them. Deciding to exercise seriously can be problematic if you don’t have a diet that matches up with this new lifestyle change, so having a personal trainer will make this aspect that much easier.

Personal Trainer If You Have A Medical Condition

There are other benefits to a personal trainer that may not seem so obvious at first. You may think you only need a trainer if you’re planning to get really fit, but it’s not always about that. Maybe you haven’t exercised in a long time, so you need more personal care for getting back into it. You may also have a medical condition that has prevented you from exercising, such as heart disease or chronic pain. Having your own trainer will help you with whatever exercise you choose to pursue and what will best be a benefit towards your medical condition.

Personal Trainer for a Specific Event or Sport

A personal trainer can also help you with getting ready for a specific sporting event. With the right routines and practices, your trainer can prepare you for a marathon, a hike, or even a recreational sport. This makes personal trainers extremely valuable if you’re interested in getting into a specific area that involves regular exercise.

Personal Trainers as Therapists

Personal Trainers

While it will entirely depend on the relationship set between you and them, your personal trainer can also act as an “unofficial” therapist. Your trainer has to know about you and how you’re feeling, as much of this determines the workouts and exercising you might be doing on a given day. A possible by-product of this is them checking in to see how you’re doing, which can lead to you two strengthening your relationship. This can then make your sessions better since your trainer will have a much better idea on how you’re doing overall. If your trainer knows and understands how you are outside of exercising, they’ll be able to assist you much more thoroughly. This also goes for dieting, since, if things aren’t going so well and you start eating poorly, your trainer will be able to keep you on the right track. Since you’re likely to see your trainer at least weekly, they would know if you’ve been improving or if you’re struggling, so don’t hesitate to form a strong bond with them.
